Geeq Monthly Dev Update – May 2025 🔧🚀
As the days get longer, so does the list of what we’re building. The dev team has been firing on all cylinders—moving forward on the core protocol, launching new initiatives, and shaping the future of decentralized apps. Major props to the crew for keeping the momentum strong. Here’s what’s new:
⚛️ Atomic Swaps – Almost There
Our Zero-Trust Atomic Swaps are nearly through the full testing cycle. We’re down to final bug fixes between development and QA. Once complete, this will unlock seamless, trust-minimized cross-chain trading—without the middlemen.
🔍 Audit Transactions – Live and Locked In
Audit transactions have been fully implemented. This milestone strengthens our foundation for self-auditing, automatic, and objective evidence. It is consistent with Geeq’s commitment to a level playing field, for transactions and validators, and lays the groundwork for greater transparency across applications.
🔄 Serialization Upgrade – Well Underway
We’ve made big strides in moving to a more modern and flexible serialization format. This upgrade improves efficiency and will make it even easier to extend functionality across future releases.
🧪 Carbon Testnet – Now Live
Focus has shifted from the Lithium Testnet to the newly launched Carbon Testnet, which will host an exclusive season in the Stack App. For now, only the Geeq team is creating stacks as part of the Geeq Builder’s Bootcamp. Expect unique badges and achievements that participants can unlock later in the season—because dev work should be rewarding and fun.
🔮 Meet Foretellr
Say hello to Foretellr, a new interactive showcase app on the Carbon Testnet. It’s designed to inspire devs to build with live, on-chain data and predictive inputs. Think of it as a spark for real-time, decentralized imagination.
Bootcamp Support – We wrapped the educational portion of our first Geeq Bootcamp, sponsored by Gainsolutions.ai, with live office hours hosted by our Chief Architect, Lun Yuen. Lun walked participants through his vibe coding sessions and the making of Foretellr. Devs explored AI-assisted coding, got hands-on with Geeq tools, and now—some are gearing up to connect their own testnets.
Thanks for your support! 🙌 As we roll into summer, stay tuned for more exciting updates!
