This and the next few updates are intentionally transitional as we continue preparing for Ignite. We’ll keep things high level to avoid sharing implementation details prematurely while still giving you a clear sense of progress.
🧬 Schema Migration
We’re implementing the new schema version across the stack and updating our test framework to support fully automated validation against it. The goal is a tighter contract between services, safer migrations, and smoother future upgrades—all without disrupting developer workflows.
🔎 Block Explorer v2.0
Work continues on the explorer with a focus on better visibility and simpler search. These changes aim to make it faster to find blocks, transactions, and addresses—and more reliable to trace activity—so operators and developers can diagnose, audit, and build with confidence.
⚙️ Performance & Reliability
We’re concentrating on robustness and reliability of the new blockchain: improving execution paths, hardening failure handling, and tuning resources for steady performance under load. The emphasis remains on predictable behavior and clean recovery when conditions aren’t perfect.
What’s next:
- Continue rolling out the new schema with expanded automated tests.
- Stage the next set of explorer improvements for easier discovery.
- Keep iterating on reliability and performance as we ready Ignite.
