In February, testing began for the latest network sync changes. Active code development also resumed for the wallet.
Here are the highlights for February’s development work.
- The new network sync changes are in and are being debugged. The dev team focused on checking node-to-node, hub-to-relay, and relay-to-node communications. Read more about Geeq’s network communications in the May 2023 Technical Update.
- Variable metadata fields for NFTs and attestations is code complete and is in dev testing.
- NFT transfers from coin account to coin account is in dev testing as well.
- Work resumed on the wallet for the developers’ use. The wallet generates key pairs, transfers coins and NFTs, and signs and sends notary transactions to the Geeq Data app.
Remember to check out the community data app and block explorer app. We made those for you! Yes, they are running on a live private blockchain.
A note about the apps: every time the devs test and release a new version of the blockchain, they also have to update and test the apps. Please send feedback, bug reports, suggestions, and encouragement by using the service desk at the bottom of the page.
Thank you for reading and, as always, thank you for your support.
